I showed Wild Wheels to my 5th grade. Beforehand, I told them that
there were a couple of people who used some ugly words and that the cars
were the focus. If anyone had a problem, they didn't have to watch. I
also created a powerpoint presentation to view beforehand, so they were
really excited to see the cars. They just ignored it and we did some
cool papier mache' art cars. All in all, I felt it was worth it to have
them hear "pissed" (which is the only un-bleeped slur I heard) and they
don't have a clue about the sixties and acid, at least not here in my
bedroom town near Austin, TX.
Sorry you had a bad experience with it...
