The principal at my school envisions that within two years, every student
will have their own personal laptop...I have a very hard time accepting this
as a reality...but maybe it is possible! (I teach at a middle school) The
arts teachers all brainstormed how our teaching would be effected if this
were to happen. Some that we came up with were 1) Virtual field trips
(visit a museum anywhere in the world) 2) Excellent way to bring up an image
and write about/talk about art... 3) Interactive lessons 4) excellent
tool for research (artists, careers, etc.).... That may help.

As I said, I have a difficult time seeing this happen. Not only on the
middle school level, but on the high school level....
The positive possibilities are great (as are the negatives)....but in
reality... I just dont see it. Has anyone else out their heard this kind of
proposal and what are other opinions on this??????
