My school system now has a "Human Resource director " who has never step foot
in a classroom. I was told by this person that 7 classes a day, everyday,
was not to big a load for me to teach and that some PE teachers have 11 to 12
classes a day.
I would love for her to take over my classes for a week and see how she does
with seven classes a day on a cart.
I have real concerns about people running schools who have never been
teachers. What types of questions does she ask before she hired someone if
she knows nothing about teaching???? It's bad enough when the principal knows
nothing about art eduction, now we have a person higher high who knows
nothing at all about any kind of teaching.
