re Care packages...

I would like to hello also and will continue to read to see what's needed.
The members of this listserve are very generous in spirit !!! It's really
nice to see at this time of year when so many people are so materialistically
oriented.

ps---- just a word of warning, before you donate anything that was paid for
by your school's budget, get an ok from school board or administration. The
taxpayers in my area get kinda testy, wouldn't want anyone to get into hot
water.
We can't even throw out broken equipment without filling out a form !!!

I have a lot of stuff that I pick up at flea markets with my own cash that I
would be willing to send, I agree the amount of waste in this country is
abhorrent.
And yes I will dumpster dive ANYTIME to retrieve a useful thing for myself or
my student !!!!!
