If anyone has any ideas for severly disabled high schoolers, too, I'm always
looking for stuff. One student is blind, can't speak, in a wheel chair,
etc. Any hand-over-hand ideas would help me!!
One thing I did with my students is I showed them Georgia O'Keefe's flower
paintings (I know the blind student couldn't see them, but the others liked
to look at the pictures). Then I taped huge stencils of open flowers that I
made out of tagboard to paper and they smeared pastels into the openings to
create O'keefe-like flowers. They turned out nice!
