Ken,
I love all of your ideas (I want to be in your class)! I especially like
the broken tile lesson. I have done this with paintings I don't like. I cut
them up and add more painted pieces of canvas paper as needed. I glue the
pieces onto a white canvas board leaving space to simulate white grout (the
board could also be painted for a colored grout look). I glue them down with
decoupage glue or Mod Podge (can't spell), then I paint the decoupage glue
over the top of it all at least 3 times. People have to be told it is not
real broken hand painted tile. Wouldn't it be neat to paint faux china
plates and the cut them up to look like broken china? I better stop. Have
fun!
Janice
