I'm embarking upon a huge school wide tie dye project here that will
benefit the Uganda orphans (kind of like an empty bowl concept only with
t-shirts). Any words of wisdom before I jump in with both feet? I'll
be doing this with dk-12 grades. What am I, Crazy?

any tips are helpful

Thanks-
Dana

We did a similar project when I was Pres. of the ladies group at a church in
Ga. It was called the "Little Pants Project" and the shorts were sent to
Haiti. It also helped unite the Latino's (inclusion) and teach them how to
sew. This helped them personally. We stitched over 1000 pairs of shorts. We
got the material donated & cut up unused clothing to make shorts. We had
clothes donated and I donated a handmade doll for a raffle. It was very
successful. Just think ahead and be organized. Also DELEGATE! Good luck.
