I make paper with second graders using homemade screens, felt squares and
newspaper to absorb water and leftover construction paper and ads from
newspapers. It makes a 5x7 piece of paper which we do chinese brush writing
on. I don't add anything special and the paper seems to come out just fine.
Sometines we sprinkle powdered paint, glitter, dried flowers and other things
before pressing the paper.
