For some strange reason... end of the schoolday, whatever... when I read the
post below I envisioned children standing in a park painting directly onto
the ties of old men sitting on a park bench. :)

old mens ties. You could gesso them, then transfer the fabric colored design
onto the ties (or scarfs).
