Does anyone on this list know the name of the artist who instructs
and creates art for the blind. I saw her on one of the morning
shows sometime in October I think. She was amazing- she took art
historical pieces and translated them to sculptural forms with lots
of textural elements. She also did the same with her own orginal
work. You should have seen the beautiful looks of understanding
that the blind students began to show in there only contact with
art history. They were orally guided and lead to feel the pieces.
It was wonderful. Please if anyone remembers her name, I would
love to research more on her. Isn't amazing how we can teach anyone, if we know how.
Thats why I love this list. You all are so real, amazing, helpful and dedicated. Thank you.
