Hi Gang,
I'm still struggling with this safety program. I have a couple of ideas but
they need more tightening up. For the littlest K/1 I thought we would do
fingerprint paintings and turn them in to "people who keep us safe." (The
place I work is having the police department come in and fingerprint kids)
With the older kids I was thinking of making an "advent calendar"type of
thing. with doors and windows that would open up to reveal safety tips.
I"I'll probably focus on art safety tips. Then they will fill in the "house
or studio" set with their own creative details, making sure to include some
examples of the safety clues we talked about. I'm not sure these are
"finished" enough. Anything else I can do to take them a step further? Any
help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Diannabanana
