Hi. My art 1 students will be creating advertising package designs. Not
specifically product designs. They will be asked to create a window display
and an 8 1/2 x 11 inch ad to go along with their package design.
What artists could I use to help kick off this project....Toulous (posters)?
Others?
Also...has anyone ever done this type of project before? Did your students
bring in their own package...(i.e. boxes, bags, containers, etc.) to use for
their project...I was not going to specify dimensions on their package design
or even the materials they were to use, but I am afraid that if I do not give
enough specifics that I will not get what I am looking for.
Students are bringing in packaging tomorrow...(they do not know what for yet)
and we are going to talk about what a consumer wants in its packaging/what
causes people to desire their products.
Any help in this area would be great.
