Just a tangent off your post, Larry... If I had to choose, I would lose
my hearing before my sight. I don't think I could go a day without looking
into my husband's loving eyes, seeing a beautiful sunset, or watching colors
"play" on a canvas. True, the sweetness of one's voice can bring life back
into another's step. However, watching the stars twinkle on a clear night is
worth more than any tender whisper, at least in my opinion. Thank heaven I
am fortunate I don't have to make that decision, and even more fortunate
that I can experience all my senses.
