I'm doing research right now on art edcuation's influence on second
language acquisition. I'm curious if anyone has seen any effects the arts
may have have had on these students? Some areas I'm looking into include:
the affective filter and how the arts may help remove feelings of isolation
through non-verbal communication, the possible universality of symbols to
assist L2 acquisition, and the ability to practice higher-level thinking
through non-verbal problem solving in the arts.

Anything along these lines or others would be of great interest.

Thanks in advance,

Andy McKee
