I have been using EnviroVent for several years. My kiln is in my
classroom and this system works very well. There are three small
holes in the top of the kiln and three small hole in the bottom. All
side hole are plugged and the lid is completely closed during all
firing phases. The motor is located under the kiln and draws air
downward, thus taking outside the toxic gasses and much of the heat
that would normally escape from a conventional kiln setup. Our
school saftey inspector was inpressed with the system. I highly
recommend it!
