This is a response to "Where to find Linnea in Monet's Garden". Public
libraries have a great number of art videos. My library networks with area
libraries and I can get tons of them. It helps when all of Madison, WI
libraries are included in this network. Anyway, check your local library
for art titles and A&E titles. Also, I go through the catalogs and pick out
which books I would like to have and -guess what- our library network can
come up with 90% of them. If I really like them, I do buy them. It is a
great way to preview.
I have the video "Linnea in Monet's Garden", I got it at the Art Institute
in Chicago,
at the Monet exhibition. I showed it once, the sound was so poor and weak
that I
havn't tried to show it since. I do love the book and either read it to or
with my 6th
graders each quarter.
