Createx cold wax

The cold wax is great for fabric and paper. Not sure about bisqueware. (I
doubt it) It has an expiration though. Whatever the substance is, it
separates. Do you see a brownish liquid at the top of the bottle? If that
is not fully incorporated it leaves a stain on the fabric.
I believe it is very safe, most of the Createx products are. Brush it on,
I have even used it in syringes. It is removed by placing the fabric
between sheets of newsprint and ironing. If I remember correctly, even a
warm wash will remove it.
I'm interested to see if others respond to this question. I too have some
old Createx products and wonder about their longevity. I used to be able to
deal with Createx directly, but now they seem to only be available through
distributors.
You could try Dick Blick's hotline - 1-800-933-2542. I have always found
their product information specialists very helpful.
