Torn paper snowmen are fun
make candlesticks out of clay (fits with christms, kwanzaa, and hanukah)
draw a snowy day picture on blue paper with crayons on half the paper,
fold and iron.
(You get a picture that lookds like it's reflected in a frozen pond)
make woven placemats
I also integrate with the classrooms, but I let them know I don't do crafts.
I have two schools and try to make the most out of my time to teach them
"real art" based on art history and principles and elements. Luckily, I work
in a disctrict that integrates a lot of art into the curriculum at the elem
level.)
