I've tried downgrading for late work and eventually there are just too many
kids who do really nice work but end up with zeros so I stopped doing that.
I've finally resorted to living with the unfinished work and grading on
EFFORT. Is it unfinished because the student is goofing off, or because
they are so dilegent that they took on more than they could do?
