I am trying to teach a few of my multiply handicapped kids in art to be
able to recognize colors. My problem is that their MH teacher does not
know if they are colorblind. She assumed they were because they don't
know colors. Does anyone know a test I could give them or a method or
lesson idea that might work with them. No one seems willing to take them
to an eye doctor to pursue this but I feel this is one thing in art that
I might be able to help with. Another problem is that these kids do not
recognize many basic shapes also. They only recognize words like "I" and
"like" in print and count to 6. Thanks in advance. :-)
