The face/machine idea is fun. Or, how about a portrait drawing on one half
and portrait collage on the other, then reinterpret the collage half as a
collograph for a printmaking session, then from the collograph (or the plate
itself) into 3-D? It might be a good art history entry into cubism -- one
half front view, one half side view, then "merge" them into one image -(-or
would they better understand "Morph?":)
