I did a project one time with high school, during a portrait unit. Each
student was given a partner. The students drew the back of their
partners head. Graphite and blending stumps were used to draw the hair
as realistically as possible. I recall a senior girl wearing a french
braid in a drawing. It was a beautiful drawing. The students had fun
guessing whose head was whose later.
