Children everywhere need good teachers. What they need may change from
place to place, but not as much as you might think. You may find the
"burbs" not so different from what you are doing now. Changing places
allows you to grow, which means you have more to give. As I am struggling
to motivate students in my first year of high school, I am grateful for the
classroom management I learned while teaching elementary and the discipline
I learned at middle school. I am better for these experiences, but not as
good as I will be. Consider yourself a work in progress. Is it time to
add something new to the canvas?
