I know all of you have had funny things happen in your classroom. Maybe we
could have a thread of "funnies" here. I'll start:
Several years ago one of my 5th grade classes was beginning to plan a mural on
endangered species. Each student had to chose an animal to put in the mural,
along with it's habitat. One of my very talented boys was working very hard
on his sketches and I asked what animal he was going to do. He replied "A
California Condom." The other children corrected him, but I don't think they
realized what he had said (I said this was several years ago!). I LOVED it
and when I want a chuckle, I think about this.
