Hi All,
I would like to suggest a new thread of conversation: ADHESIVES! As
artists, art teachers, parents, et al, we are constantly seeking ways
to hold things together. What is your favorite? Do you have any
tricks or tips you would like to share?
My favorite glue is called E-6000. It is as strong as epoxy, without
having to mix two parts together. I have used it to glue a metal rear
view mirror to a glass windshield, among other things. It is a shrink
fit bond, which means that you slop it on, let it dry and then peel
off the excess. I have found this glue at craft stores and auto body
shops! It sells for about $6 a tube. It even comes in 'auto body
colors' such as black, brown, white and clear.
Please share your favorite adhesive and what you use it with!
