Merit Pay

Hi,

I just came back from a negotiation session with my
district. The district would like to go to a
merit pay type of change. No step raise unless you
have had a good evaluation.

Anyone out there in a merit pay district? Any
language to safeguard teachers from being disciplined
with this stuff?

I know in Texas one district gave everyone a negative
evaluation so that they could stay within their budget.
No one got a step increase at all that year.
