Fat Kills Slowly - Website

Thought some of you might be interested in this website designed by a
student, Natasha Sotala, in my Art and Community class. The assignment
was to "Use art/design to engage an audience in an issue of social,
cultural, political or ecological significance."

The topic of this site (fat intake) was one of the more unusual issues
dealt by the students in this class. But, it certainly seems timely
with the holiday season approaching. Here's a brief portion of
natasha's artist statement:

"I wanted to do a website on fat because it is an issue rarely noticed
by

the art community and yet it is just as serious as anything else. By
doing a website, I feel I can reach more people and give more
information than by any other means of communication. . ."
