Did a great project with 2 and 3 grades. Continued lesson in line (a bit of
review!)
Using a long piece of green yarn on red construction paper, the kids need to
glue it on in the shape of a tree. Nice triangular squiggles or zig zags or
shapes like contemporary xmas card, then just glue on a nice yellow or brown
square for trunk. Add stars, or balls, or whatever. Fun. Like "drawing"
with glue. Neater than glitter! Return when dry so homeroom teachers can
guide in writing a message inside.
