polymer glue

Most of your white glues are a polymer based. "Elmer's Glue" is fairly
standard brand. However, if you are into collage techniques, gluing
papers together you can get an Acrylic Polymer Medium which is like a
white glue but has many more purposes with Acrylic Paints and also acts
as a good sealer. May I ask why you trying to glue several pieces of
paper together and what kind.
If you are using white glue add some amounts of water so that it can be
brushed on or pulled across your surface in a squeegie like fashion with
the edge of a piece of card.
