Mary,
The exact thing happened to me. The district decided to go with IBM and I
held out for a Mac, since Art didn't count for getting one of the IBM's
anyway. The parent group at my school bought me the Mac along with a tv,
vcr and a hook-up between the computer and tv screen. It works great, and
I relly appreciate their help, but the district will not provide me with
equipment so I can hook up with the internet or anyone else for that
matter. I have to buy my own programs, paper and printer ink out of the
art budget. So much for being one with technology. Kathy B
