Sometimes I have them use charcole or an ebony pencil and darken the whole
paper and draw backwrds with erasers...we also talk about "key" and we stop
and I have the kids show work in progress and tell the group if it's low,
high or middle key...And Most of ALL, i don't ever let them use those
clickie pencils with the weenie little leads that snap off if you breathe on
them...
