I like the idea of choosing an emotion, I may swipe that idea and add it to
the one I came up with. I am plannig to take my fifth and sixth graders to
MOMA in January. My lesson will involve the students using squeeze bottles
from Restaurant supply shop filled with paint to create a Pollock painting. I
ask the students to ponder my Pollock choose this style of painting as opposed
to trying to render a person, place or thing. Perhaps only the energy of
spreading colors is enough to enjoy the painting experience.
