Pierre,
In response to your inquiry on ArtsEdNet, I haven't worked with
"officially" dyslexic children, but I have had success helping kids who
had problems concentrating and sequencing words in reading. I teach
Perceptual Skills in Drawing, aka Drawing on the Right Side of the
Brain, from the work of Dr. Betty Edwards. Teaching children how to
draw (something that is believed impossible by most art education
"experts") has tangible positive results in the areas of concentration,
the moment-by-moment control of attention, self-esteem, and a healthy,
balanced cognitive development. Please contact me if you'd like more
information. Vous pouvez aussi m'ecrire en francais!
Marc Lazard
