Mindy:

Yes, Liquitex makes "Glossies" acrylic paint which is very permanent. You
use it like any other type of acrylic and then bake it in the oven at 325
for about 40 minutes. Instructions are on the back of the little jars.
My sister did mugs at a birthday party over a year ago and they came out
well. Ours are still in good shape after many runs in the dishwaher. Be
sure to buy the correct glossy acrylic, not the regular line. Its not
cheap.
