Jessica,
Thanks for all that helpful information on transferring images. We had
a middle school teacher last year that made a huge portrait quilt
featuring all the students in her school. They transferred enlarged
photocopied photographs of themselves onto cloth, then embellished their
portraits. I think with all the portraits combined it made three large
quilts. I also think she used a medium from a craft store which was
marketed for the purpose of creating an image transfer, which turned out
to be pretty expensive. Your suggestions would have probably have
worked out just as well and less expensive too.
