Encaustic Art uses waxes designed to be worked molten with low-heat tools. These tools are a bit like a travel iron and a very low temperature solder iron. It is used in UK and many other countries very successfully with special needs kids, occupational therapy for any ability, etc. We have a web page with a techniques section. please take a good look around. http://www.encaustic.com

The products are sold extensively into the Hobbycraft / Hobbyart market as well as any creative art level. It really is a lot of fun and very easy to get started with. You can pick up suppliers in your part of the world from the International contact page on the web site. You can Email me any questions at mike.uk
Thanks for your interest and hope this is useful. Michael
