During college, I too, experimented with this process and if I remember correctly we were using laquer thinner although I have since tried again with poor results. we were however, using xerox copies rather than inkjet printouts. I have been searching for a process that will work for the ink jet inks. I have seen the process done by other artist, but it seems to be some sort of trade secret. Perhapes someone will share the secret with us.
