Yes, I agree enthusiastically. Many of my friends do not consider
themselves as artists yet they create incredible pieces. Silently, like
kind cooks and gardeners, they give their work to people at special times,
never calling attention to their work. Maybe their stuff doesn't show up in
books and magazines or museums, but they are no less artistic for their
lack of recognition.
