Your ideas about using the historical society and nursery are great!
As I read it, I kept hearing my former Art Ed professor, Chuck
Qualley. I have a tendency to get into the social studies side of
cultural awareness, and he would remind me... "what are the students
learning about art? Do they know WHY they are learning about this?"
As you can see, his words still echo in my head.
