[teacherartexchange] PC Virus Removal Help Needed

My wife's PC has some "Threats" that need to be removed. I'm a mac
person and don't know how to
go about it. Her computer says to go to a company called Stop-Sign to
pay a fee for removal software.
Is this site legit or can someone recommend what I should do ?
