I'm glad to find a few people who seem to agree with me. I found the book
to be cheesy--I don't care at all for his writing style, and I just wanted
the book to be finished. I was unable to get through his other books. But
I seem to be in the minority.
The problem I had with Da Vinci Code is that I figured it out half way
through, so I, too, wanted the book to be "over". I like a writing style that
really involves the reader with images that "paint" a picture for me in my mind,
or a mystery that I can't figure out. I'm in a book club with a
facilitator, and one of the books that we all loved was "Kite Runner". Has anyone read
this book by a new author. Can't remember his name....
