Foamcore cutters, book recyclers...*and* tinted glue update.

Date: Sat Dec 04 2004 - 08:19:45 PST

I just finished plowing through all the great e-mail on the list...and am
just so inspired and enthused by all the ideas. (you know - one of those "warm
fuzzy" art teacher moments).
Resolution 1: I will practice my foamcore cutting skills so that I *too*
can cut through it as if it were pencil on a paper. (writing this 1,000
times...deep sigh)
Resolution 2: I will start recycling old books - wow, talk about some
amazing potential for art & literacy connections.
Resolution 3 (which is also an update on the tinted Elmer's glue fiasco): I
will *only* tint the glue the morning of the day that we're going to use it.
....if any of you wrote down the recipe (Elmers and Crayola tempera)...I
soon found out that it separates after sitting around for a day or two...aaagh
! It *can* be re-mixed but it's a huge to mix and use
Happy Holidays everyone!
