Hi Mike I am jumping in late, I love plaster and the kids will love it too. Sometimes that is enough. We all have to learn the hard way that once it is taken off it is off, unlike clay. That's the fun part. Yes it is messy and makes your hands feel funny when it is dry but it is so tactile and inviting AND you get to use tools. Have fun Carol
