My suggestion for a text is "Emphasis Art" by Frank Wachowiak...it has
everything you need as a first year teacher or whatever year! GREAT
color images of primo kids artwork, media used by elementary kids, great
project ideas, classroom management sections, discipline ideas,
developmental levels, and it thoroughly stresses what children can rise
to in their process/discovery in art class.
