Someone else mentioned Pacifica, and I wholeheartedly agree that Pacifica is
a very good, versatile wheel. I bought one for my high school classroom and it
has served us perfectly. It came with a built-in reversing switch, a great
addition for a classroom because it allows right- and left-handed students to
use the wheel. This might not be a necessary thing for you to have as an
individual, but even so, this wheel was a great buy -- a durable wheel with a fine
foot speed control for a great price. (And, no, I'm not on their payroll :) )
My personal wheel is a Creative Industries wheel, a great wheel that I really
like too, but it is more expensive than the Pacifica. Had I found the Pacifica
first, I would have bought it for myself.
