I am very curious about your mixed media assignments. Any chance you could describe them for us?

Well I must be the last to find out, but my two proposals for a workshop and a presentation were accepted.

The first one is on Sunday from 4:00 to 5:50 p.m. and it is a workshop on embossing. I do multilevel (up to 7 levels) embossings with my Art 2 classes and this is a workshop to followup on the presentation I did last year. Each person will make a multilevel template, create an embossing from existing templets, see examples and an extensive handout on the process. Tools for embossing, paper, boards, glue, knives, wax, towels, etc., will all be provided and for you to take home. This is suitable for middle school as well as high school.

The second is Monday at 8:00 a.m.-8:50. I call this one Cleaning out your closet and will feature 7 or 8 projects that I do with mixed medias. You can use many thing that you have around the storage closet and by mixing them get some neat ideas. Examples slides and a handout on each project will be included for the first 60 people.

I hope to see lots of people from the list at a breakfast or maybe meet for dinner some time. This will be my first workshop but I think it will be fun for those who want to know how to make these embossed prints.
