So long as you don't go above 212 degrees you can speed dry the wet
clay
pieces in the kiln if you are in a hurry. You do run into some cracking
with some kinds of clay because the clay doesn't take to being dried to
rapidly. If you speed dry wet work and raise the temperature at or
above
212 degrees the pieces will blow up because of the expansion of the
water
vapor.
