You hate to label a class but so be it... my junior class is about the same.
Since I advise student council...I am having a terrible time with my Junior
Class Officers...they want the credit if others do the work for them. If
they don't follow Parlimentary Procedure they will be asked to leave the next
meeting (it will be the 3rd offense) and we will then meet with the Director
of Student Activities. Hope they mature significantly in the next couple
I am just thankful for the few creative juniors I have in art. One of my
most spontaneous and creative students is a junior. I just wish I could
bottle him and sell him to the rest of my art students...his mind is
constantly creating...producing (finished products)...and escalating to
greater ideas. He is in photography and can't draw anything but stick
figures...but can he create compositions and explore materials. Loves
creating with duct tape...clothing, sculptures...etc. I have to survey the
room daily since more than art projects get duct tape...he has a sense of
humor too. So do I ...I get even...artistically. Not often that you can
have both the serious and humorous relationship with a student.
