       Its hard to find teachers to in other departments to collaborate at my
school also. Both teachers have to allow time to get the projects done. What
I did was go to the English department head and asked for names of those
teachers who might enjoy sharing their student's work.
       My other thought is having my own art students do a creative writing
assignment and then swap with one of my other art classes.
