Every year our art dept. does a lot of publicity to attract enrollees into
our program. We use our main showcases( near the main office/hallway) to
display art work from each of the different art courses offered, along with a
description. We also hand out 'flyers' to our present students after
discussing the art electives available. We have a descriptive handout for
the counselors as well and our chair speaks to them as well. The middle
school art teachers also discuss the art program at the high school with the
8th graders. It is worthwhile but it takes alot of extra work.
